WRESTLING

Christy v. McCready. ■ IPer Press Association], DUNEDIN, September 12. In one of the fastest and most open wrestling bouts seen here, Christy held McCready to a draw on Saturday night. There was an entire absence of showmanship, but there was nothing dour about the contest, which went at a terrific pace from start to finish. McCready secured a fall in the seventh round with a dump and a body press after elbow jolts. Christy equalised in the last round with a flying body scissors and press.
