When Mr Irwin declared this morn ing that James Hamilton Ramsay (who was befo’re the Court in connexion with a complaint by his wifo that he find sureties for keeping the peace towards per), was assuming a dull, listless altitude, and that he was ‘‘quite spry and alert when away from the Court,” the man in the dock promptly fell prone, apparently in a faint. However, he would be ordered to find a personal surety of £2OO, and two further; sureties (to be approved by his Worship) of £lOO, that he kept the peace towards his wife, the man to be kept tn custody until the sureties were obtained.
