GAMBLING HOUSE.
CLOSURE ORDERED BY COURT CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 25. Mr Justice Adams gave judgment today on the application to close the premises in Aladras Street suspected by the police of being a common gaining house. His Honour said he was satisfied that there werp reasonable and ample grounds for the suspicions. The evidence of Walter Ilulston, owner of the premises, was, His Honour said, absolutely unreliable. A declaration was made as applied for, with costs of ten guineas and disbursements against llulston.
