_ Like a Hippodrome. ARCHITECT GETS £l3O FOR PLANS WANGANUI, February 25. Clifford Newton Hood, architect, o; Wanganui, -u,.j the prophet, Katana and Peter Moko, in the Supreme Court to-day for £250, as damages, being the cost of plans drawn up for ttie fiataiin Temple, which were not used in thei entirety, but were allegedly used as the basis for another plan drawn by a Maori, named I‘iku. The temple eventually built by Ratanaitcs. After hearing exhaustive evidence, Mr. Justice McGregor stated that, no doubt, there was some agreement between the plaintiff and the defendant for drawing the plans. It was also clear that the plans had been incorporate to a certain degree in I‘iko’s plan. His honour was not satisfied that Mr. Hood had drawn the plans entitling him to the full claim. Judgment was given for the sura of £l3O.
