SUICIDE EPIDEMIC.

INFECTS ARGENTINA. BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 23. \ w'lve of suicides is sweeping the Argentine. Fifteen died of poison today. Over 300 poisoned themselves in tin past four months. Of these 200 were in Buonos Aires. The same poison v.as used in every ease. All the cases date back to a murder trial at which it was bi ought out that the victim died of this poison. Much publicity was given to the trial. Sensational newspapers even descrioed 'now the poison was administered and what were the symptoms. Those committing suicide consist of all ages and all classes, and the acts were committed in parks, streets, cafes, and homes. The police are trying to influence the newspapers to give suicides less space. A conservative journal is publishing antidotes, telling how to administel, and also urging the control of the sale of poison.
