WEST COAST ASSOCIATION. At the fortnightly meeting of the West Coast Association Messrs Green wood (Chairman), Dewar, Thomas, Patterson, Dunford. Comerford, J'. Bya.n, B. Ryan and Casey were present. Cobden Club wrote regardiife a discrepanry in the scores in the Junior Match Cobden v. Kumara which resulted in a tie, and it was decided to communicate with the Kumara Club in tne matter.

The Senior Championship was declared closed and United the winners. It was resolved to start a one round competition on Sunday next for a £2/2/-

trophy, entries to close at 5 p.m. today. 'l'l'.e Secretary was rhre.b.il tv invite 7 v elson Creek to compet-*. It was aeided to close the third grade compe tition after the next match, and start a fresh one.

Regarding a Buller return match, It was decided to wire the Buller Association asking if their team would visit Grey on sth and 6th of March. It was 'agreed to communicate with the Nelson and South Westland Associations re further rep. games. The collection at the Greymouth Westland match amounted to £4/5/-. it was decided to write Clubs concerned fcr payment of outstanding affiliation and registration fees. Mr. T. Ryan was appointed Secretary during Mr. Casey’s absence.

AUCKLAND, Feb. 22. 11. L. Hendry, the Australian and Vieurian cricketer, arrived here to-day to join the Melbourne Club team now touring New Zealand. Hendry could not come to the Dominion earlier, as his services were required by Victoria in the Sheffield Shield games. He will join the Melbourne team at Wellington.
