BURGLAR GETS £5OO WORTH. WELLINGTON, Feb. 21. Jewellery and personal effects valued at £5OO were taken from Councillor F. F. Manton, at Northland on Friday evening dpring the absence of the family. A door was forced, all rooms seached, and every article of value stolen. ANOTHER BURGLARY. PALMERSTON NORTH, Feb. 21. Burglars over the week-end effected an entry to the premises of Collinson and Son, ironmongers, and stole some loose change and goods to the value of a pound or two. They also entered the adjoining premises of Humphreys and Andrews, men’s outfitters. They found no cash, and apparently they took noth ing.
