PINEDO’S DELAY. LONDON, Feb. 20. News conies from Praia (Cape Verde Islands) that De Pinedo, the Italian airman, intends to iiy from that point ’ to Port Natal, lie is e- .ceteil to start at 11 o’clock on Saturday night. ROME, Fob. 2(1. De Pinedo was unable to take off ■at Praia, owing to the plane being overloaded. He will make another attempt to-day. The Uruguayan aviator, Larrabordes departed from Pisa for Malaga, on the first stage of the trans-Atlantic flight. LONDON, Feb. 202 Bert Hinkler is making plans to fly on a light aeroplane to Australia. He intends to use a two-seater light airplane fitted with a sixty horse-power ■ engine. (Recd. Feb. 21 a t. 8.5 p.m.) MADRID, Feb. 21. The airman Bordes has arrived pt Alicante. The Marchese De Pinedo has had his u machine towed to Ribiera Inferno, at. 1 isolated spot, from which it is most difficult to get news.
