HINTS FOR SPORTS GIRL.
Before golfing or tennis playing, protect face, and neck with a vanishing cream. Rub it in, and whilst it is still there dust on powder, unless the skin is coarse; if it is so, wipe with a soft towel before using the powder. Ifi your face is heated and perspiring during a game, on no account apply scent on the skin. Carbonate of magnesia is the best cooler and cleanser you can use. Prevent the palms of your hands from becoming hard by rubbing vaseline or olive oil into them on returning home. Make a habit of this. A liberal use of rosewater and glycerine on the hands at night helps to improve them. Never be guilty of wearing tight, high-heeled shoes for any form of sport. Boracic powder sprinkled freely inside the soles of your shoes and the heels of your stockings prevent#* blisters, and prevents you feet aching. Golf chibs should be suspended, as their own weight Avill keep them from warping. Tt is a mistake to lay them on a shelf or floor. If a tennis racquet is not to be used for some time apply a very little almond oil to the strings. Never put them away wet.
