N.S.W. COAL OWNERS.

DELAY RESUMPTION. SYDNEY, Feb. 17. Mr Baddeley, Minister of Mines, announced that a conference of representatives of the miners and coal owners, has been arranged ,probably for Friday, to discuss the matters in dispute. Although the Northern Executive advised the miners to return to work today, no work was done as the owners state they are not yet advised of th-? result of Monday’s aggregate meetings and until so notified, cannot take any action.

The Northern Collieries’ Association states that when it receives notification from the Miners’ Central Council of the result of the aggregate meetings the owners will' be called together to deal with it.
