WELLINGTON, February 17. Mr 1). C. Bates reports: The present indications are for southerly breezes to the northward of Kawhia and Fast Cape, ami for strong north-westerly to south-westerly winds elsewhere. The weather will be changeable generally, with scattered rain, especially in the western and southern districts. The barometer is unsteady, but will be 1 ising soon.
