FATALITIES.
AUSTRALIAN AIR TRAGEDY. MELBOURNE, Feb. 15. While making a solo practice flight at the Point Cook Air Force Station, a machine piloted by Flying Cadet Alexander Dix, 20, crashed. Dix was badly injured and died on route to the hospital. The machine, which Was a fighting scout plane, and d’aS the fastest in use by the Australian Air Force, was completely -wrecked.
