PADDOCK’S PHENOMENAL SPRINT. NEW YORK, Feb. 12. At Claremont (Canifornia) Paddock sprinting 250 metres in 27.6 seconds today, broke the world’s record of 31.2 seconds, established by McPherson in New Zealand in 1891, besides Murcliison’s indoor mark of 29secs.
