CORRESPONDENCE.
A COMPLAINT. (To the Editor). Sii - , —ln one respect the report in yesterday’s “Argus” of the Star v. Waters! ders cricket match was erroneous, as the score of a junior player was not credited to him. It. is a pity a club secretary should misplace scores in giving them to the press. I am in doubt if the error in this case were purely a mistake, as it bore the appearance of a joke; though the ultima ratio may have been to shield the cricket repute of a recent century maker by according his ‘‘duck” to the “credit” of a junior player, who really did well to make a fair score. It may have been an oversight, but the next time the same players make similar scores to what they made on Sunday last, one trusts they will be correctly communicated to the press.—l am, etc., LEATHER HUNTER.
