There was great Interest in the polling' to-day for City Councillors,'. Har- . ,bour Board members, and weekly halfholiday. Definite results will 'not beknown till after 'midnight, but on present results,, it seems likely tkat Mr Robert Fletcher will -head the- poll, both for Councir"lihd- Harbour Board. The people ran eight candidates for the Council, but appear to have succeeded only in electing two, both- of: whom were in : the last Council. 'It seems certain that Wednesday is re-, tamed for the weekly half 1 holiday.
