A worker on the Maruia road works has informed a Reefton paper that he was compelled to go to Greymouth to get his money from the Public Works Department. The office was closed, and then he was sent .back to Reefton to draw hia money there. The man was ordered to go to Greymouth, paying his own expenses in the first instance, and naturally feels aggrieved at being sent from post to pillar.
