NEW POST OFFICE OPENED.
HINE CHARGES ' GROUNDLESS. (By Telegraph — Per Presa Association) CHRISTCHTJRGH, April 22. The handsome new post office on Ferry Road, Linwood. was officially opened by the Hon. . MacKenzie, acting Postmasiter-General,^ this afternoon, in the presence of a large gathering of the public. In., the course. of his speech : the Minister, -in referrink to the Hine chages, said that serious allegations were made against the Land Purchase , Board,, but. subsequent enquiries had rjroved that the allegations were aßsolutely groundless.
