<»- MUNICIPAL THEATRE. TO-NIGHT. Tke Baldwin Mahatma Company will open their season this evening at the Town Hall, and submit an extremely interesting' and diversified programme. The latest novelites in magic obtained by Dr. Rowe on his recent visit to England from a grqat attraction. He presents a series of legerdemain events, including the Egyptian jar, a merv'ollous experiment with water, shown for the first time in New Zealand, an 3* the spirit hand, said to 'be a test of modern spiritualism, which completely mystifies the audience while his smart patter and repartee keep the audience on the best of terms.
