The local weather report yesterday was: — Wind, east, fresh breeze; barometer, 29.57; thermometer 64 degrees ; tides moderate ; bar moderate.
The Government Meteorologist tele graphed yesterday at noon as follows : —
"Expect easterly moderate to strong winds, winds freshening and probably squally at times. Expect showery and changeable weather ; glass fall; tides poor; sea consider able off shore."
