WEATHER REPORT.
The local weather report yesterday was:— Wind, east, fresh breeze; barometer, 52 degrees; tides moderate ; bar moderate.
The Rev D. C Bates (Government Meteorologist) wired at noon yesterday as follows: —
"Expect easterly moderate to strong winds; weather probably cool and changeable; expect unsettled and cloudy weather at times, glass fall, tides low, sea moderate, but considerable off shore; a storm tarea especially threatening the North Island."
