PARIS, April 20.
Victor Gaubert, has been arrested for the murdei- of his wife, Eliza, in Vielaye -Lappene, near Marseilles, the circumstances resembling- the> Orip-
' His wife, Eliza, disappeared in October, the husband alleging she had gone to Mauritius. He later announced her death, and married Antonia Sidolles, a village, cil. who had left her home.
During- repairs to his house workmen noticed that tiles in the scullery were uneven and after investigation discovered his wife, Eliza.
Gatfbcrt states that Eliza became violent during an altercation over Antonia, and that she suddenly dropped dead, and fearimr arrest he buried the body.
