The New Zealand Educational Institute is circularising- the ' head v ' teachers throughout the Dominion, requesting that at the annual meeting of householders they should' arrange for the following "resolution to be ' submitted : — "That this meeting of householders considers that in the best interests, of education a Dominion scheme for promotion " "of teachers is urgently required ; and that this resolution -be forwarded to the Minister >of Education, Wellington." The circular further states that teachers throughout the Dominion are eager for this reform, and that the institute is making their appeal for assistance on its behalf.
