PROTEST AND APPEAL.

CHRISTCHURCH, April 20,
The stewards of the N.Z Metropolitan Trotting Club : met this morning and after an exhaustive enquiry into the protest lodged against May Dillon, winner of the Express Handicap decided to award the race to May Dillon.
An appeal having been lodged, the totalisator money will be impounded until it is decided.
