DEPUTATION TO MORMONS.

LONDON, April 17 Rector Heywood of Lancashire neaded a deputation of the Men's Bible Class to the Mormon missionaries whom they required to leave the town, threatening that they would be tarred and feathered. The Mormons agreed to leave.. • The Mormons at Birkenhead however refused, angry crowds ultimately attacking them. The police arrested five rioters, but the^ crowd pelted the police with stones and mud, and several were injured.
