BUFFALO BILL'S CIRCUS.
A house packed to the doors greet ed the Messrs McMahons on their Jirst production of the famous Bill Cody's circus in picture form. In the first part Miss O'Keefe sang" very nicely two numbers and the sec ond Half of the display was devoted to the star picture. The series open ed .with a parade of all sorts of weird individuals, ranging- from cowboys; and blood-thirsty, feather Indians to Hindus 'and Congo natives. The horses were an especially^ good feature, every member of the vast company .being- mounted on what were apparently picked stock. The exhibition of rough-riding by cowooys was most realistic, and the man ncr in which the men stuck to their mounts would have put most New Zealand aspirants for such honours in a back seat. A "cowgirl" who bat a vicious broncho was quite a feature. In addition a number of new dramatic pictures of American stories and some humorous subjects were screened. The programme will be presented again this evening- and on Wednesday "The Squatter's Daughter" will be the attraction.
