A report from Douglas states that in consequence of complaints of the killing- and wounding of American citizens in Thursday's battle at Aqua Prieta, President Taft is maiking representations to ."the Federal and Insurrectionary leaders to fight their futue battles at a greater distance from the frontier. LANDING BLUE JACKETS. A report has been received ;by the State Department that the British sloop Shearwater landed thirty blue jackets at Maxim, San Quentin, Mcx ico, to protect the town against a .threatened attack by the Rebels, which, however, did not materialise, and the blue jackets were withdrawn.
