There was little change excepting that Medallist widened the gap till approaching the turns, when they commenced to v close up. Medallist led into the straight. Comedy King overhauled him below the leger, where Trafalgar joined the issue and there was a good race home. Won by three quarters of a length, Medal list- four lengths away. Time 2.33|. At the six furlongs Broadsword and Grist still showed the way, the: son of Lawrence being next. A j little further Lager "dashed out. and held the lead for half a mile by two lengths clear of Gold' Thread, Broadsword a.nd Bright Laddie. In rounding the bend Lager was a length clear :of Gold Thread, Broadsword, Royal Mero, Corelli and Bright Laddie. Lager was the first into the straight. Below the distance Gold Thread and Bright Laddie showed most prominently from Broadsword, Corelli and Flavinius.* At the distance Broadsword came again with Sunlike and alter a desperate race won by three quarters of a length, Flavinius half a length off. Then came Corelli, Bright Laddie, Gold Thread, Royal Naerv.
