The .mine manager reports that during the week the crosscut has been extended • a further distance of Bft. making a total of 73ft. .There is. a igood class of country coming- in, the hard ground having been cut out. We have been shorthanded during- i-hc week.
Mr J. Gow, reepresenting Kirkpatrick and. Co.. the well-known Nelson firm, will arrive in Greymouth about the 24th inst.
