SECOND DAY
The seceond day r of the Grey Jockey Cluib's autumn meeting, was held in glorious weather on Saturday and the attendance was large. The fields constituted a record for the club, and thehandicapper, Mr J. Noble is to be congratulated on the splendid results obtained. The handicaps- were so even that all owners reckoned they had a chance, and the finishes were close and exciting. The starts were well timed and Mr Keith' deserves special mention. The totalisator was ably controlled by Mr H. T>. James who did splendid . work ; 'in putting the sum. of £5075 through in one day or a total of £3.300 more than the meeting- of last year. . .
