Kichard Arnst, the champion sculler,, arrived from Sydney to-day risked whether, he had any serious intentions in regard to boxing-' he explained that he had '-taken on the gloves to keep in form," but knew very little about the science of the business of course. Meanwhile the champion goes to Christchurch and on Easter Monday will witness the race between Welch and Fogwell at Akaroa. He will return to Sydney on Wednes day week to attend to some "business matters.
