Crown iDerby galloped a mile in 1.40| This is the fastest 'gallop this season. iHe carried a light boy. 'Lady Medallist did the same journey a auarter of second slower. Comedy King covered a mile comfortaMy in 1.46. Parisian went a mile and a quarter in 2.15 in good style. ißridge did the same distance in 2.17 ■Mindful did the same in 2.14.
At the annual meet'ng of the Wellington Opera House Company held to-day, it was decided, in terms of directors . •recommendation, . that a dividend of 5 per cent {this together with 7 per cent paid on 30th September, making" a dividend of 12 per cent for the year), toe paid.
