The Labor Council is considering a scheme for establishing 1 a trade Unionist's principal defence fund for the purpose of assisting trades unionists imprisoned for things said or uone at the instigation of the Unions m defence of the principles of Unionism. Only members contributing ko unions will benefit. Payments. *rorn the fund will be at the rate of £2 per week to' the wife and five shillings to each of the children of tho imprisoned Unionist.
