r i The Committee of the (jiniymouth '•jockey Club never lacking in their to make the property at jj.Omoto second to none in the Dominff.ion have not been idle since the iMidsummer Meeting in having mat;j ters generally, attended to. The h grand stand which was enlarged just before Christmas has been much improved inasmuch that the portion, has had the roof put f:, on and the whole structure is now most imposing in all particulars, and does credit alike to the energetic 'committee and the architect (Mr H. sv-Bignell) and contractor IMr A. Rus|seil.)^ .Another important work which |has been completed is the putting in tot turn styles at the entrance to the |; saddling paddocks. This improve'f ment will prove a boon to the club S'omcials and the public alike, and jr will • curtain the long- walk that the | public were forced to undergo to get t into the inside stand and lawn. The |- whole will prove the most - noticeable to patrons who intend pay|King Omoto course a visit on the 12th f. 'and 15th of this month. The course |«and grounds generally are at the pre J:Vsent time endowed with a pleasant ; i, and magnificent Autumn tint, and j| we venture to say- that never before yhas the picturesque resort appeared Vto better advantage.
