The contract for the carriage of the Suez English mails between New Zealand and Melbourne provides for the despatch and receipt of mails within given dates at the ports of the Bluff, Fort Chalmers, Lyttelton, and Wellington only. By order of the Postmaster-GeneraL W. Gray, Secretary, General Post Office, Wellington, January, 1875.
