WARDEN'S COURT, AHAURA.
Friday, November 27. (Before Mr Warden Broad.) M'Cracken v. Johnston. — A complaint of alleged encroachment on the business" section of the plaintiff at Hattsr's Terrace, Nelson Terrace. After taking evidence, the Warden postponed his decision until he visited the scene of the dispute. Michael Roche applied for possession of an abandoned tail-race at the left-hand branch of Dry Gully, Nelson Creek. The application was opposed by Hoby and party, and the Warden decided to adjourn the case tiJl he visited Nelson Creek, and examined the locality in dispute. The following applications were granted: Henry Watterson and party, certificates ! of registration for an extended claim, for heas and tail-race and dam at Sunday Creek, Red Jack's district ; William Newcome, senr., a head arid tail-race and extended claim at the Haupari Lake ; Antonio Giambonini, an extended claim at Half-Ounce ; James Eaton, a double area claim at Mosquitq Creek ; Ah Loan, 1 a head-race afc the Blackwater j Venus and Knight, a double claim at Napoleon ; Boyle and party, a head-race at Callaghan Creek ; A. M'Donald, a head and tailrace, a dam site, and extended claim at Napoleon ; Robert Mitchell, a site for a dam at Sunday Creek. Stringer and Cortoni applied for protection for a claim at Napoleon. Protection for one month granted. James O'Conor and party applied for a head of water for sluicing purposes at the new rush at the Blackball Creek. The application was opposed by Patrick Coil, on the ! ground that he wanted the water himself at some future time. The application was granted. The application of Giambonini and parfy to substitute the name of Martin Maloney for that of Alexander Foldi, in an amalgamation certificate, was also granted.
