RULES FOR RACING. In hdrse-racing the rules of the Greymouth Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to as far as practicable. No entries for any of these races will be received except upon this condition :— That all disputes, objections, claims and complaints arising out of these races shall be disposed of and cleoMerl by the stewards, whose decision upon all matters connected with the foregoing race programme shall be final. Three horses must start for each event or no race. ' RULES FOR SPOKTS. 1. Any runner wilfully jostling another during a race . will thereby be debarred from winning 2. All disputes to be referred to the Committee of Management, their decision to be final. 3. Complaints for foul running to be made immediately after the race. 4. Competitors must compete iv trousers, and shoes. 5. The Committee reserve to themselves the power of altering or amending the programme during the advertised days. 6. The sports will commence at 11 o'clock sharp each day. , 7 Quoits. Competitors to find their own quoits. Entries to be made on the ground with Secretary. If the required number of entries are not received the prize will not be competed for. ■ . Entries for the Weatland Handicap must be made on. the 18th December deolared on the 24th December.
