A VOICE FROM NO TOWN.
fTO THE EDITOR.] Sir — Knowing that you are always ready and willing to correct mistakes, and to do fair play to all parties — Therefore with your kind permission I wish to inform your No Town correspondent that if he alludes to the Miners' Vigilance Committee of this place in a paragraph which appeared in your issue of the 30th of last month (under the heading of mining news), he must have been misinformed as to the doings and character of the men forming the committee, the majority of whom have have always borne a respectable and sober character, and instead of becoming more disgraceful as a body they are becoming more respectable and respected everyday — at least in the opinion of the miners of this place. . I am, &c, James Anderson, Miner. Nelson Creek, Grey Valley, November 11, 1874.
