London, Oct. 8. Count Arnim is kept closely confined, and his release has been refused. The missing documents which caused his arrest belong to the archives of the Paris Embassy. The Count denies all knowledge of the greater portion of the documents, but • claims the remainder as his private property. The matter causes considerable excitement in official circles. Berlin. The alleged wounding of Don [Carlos is officially contradicted. There are serious dissensions in the ranks of the Carlists. Doire Garry is dismissed, and Mendevis appointed his successor.
