INANGAHUA MINING NEWS AND THE JUST-IN-TIME COMPANY.
[to the editor.] Sir — Iv your issue of the 24th ultimo, you publish an item, copied from the , "Reefton Courier," referring to the above company, in which it is stated that about one hundred and fifty tons of stone were left in the paddock when the last crushing was finished. I write to tell you that this is not the case, as the quantity left in the paddock was from twelve to fifteen tons. Our district has suffered enough already by misrepresentation, without its being continued by the press, and 1 ask you, sir, what could more completely mislead shareholders at a distance, and. the public generally, that such a misstatement as it would lead people to believe that there was stone in the paddock that would yield nearly LI 2OO worth of gold. The ' ' Courier," of last Wednesday, also says (speaking of the same claim) that "it is not unlikely that the manager will be ready for a crushing as soon as the present crushing of the Fiery Cross Company is completed." Perhaps the manager will . be ready, but the claim won'p. I am, $c., A Shareholder. Boatman's, Oct. } l&ji. ' " .
