In reply to Mr Harrison Mr Yogel said the Government did not intend to subsidise a Colonial Exhibition. They might contribute if the matter was taken up as a private enterprise. On members entering from the Legislative Council, the hon. Speaker Sir Dillon Bell said the members of the House of Representatives had learned with regret of his Excellency's resignation of his high office.
