Thuksday, August 20. (Before C. Whitefoord, Esq., R,M.). S. Pinker ton was fined 5a and costs for being drunk and incapable. CIVIL CASES. W. Young v. J. Cargill. — A claim of L 9 7s 9d for bread supplied at HalfUnnce. Verdict for the amount and costs. Same. v. J. Thomas.— Claim for 15s. Judgment for the amount claimed and costs. C, Irvine v. John Bourke. — A 'claim, of L 6 9s 6d for beef, &c., supplied at different times. Verdict for the plaintiff with costs. W. Young v. Thomas Doyle. — A claim of L 7 17s 3d. : The defendant stated that a mate of his had, he had been told, paid the account. The plaintiff stated the defendant's mate had paid his own share, ( and that credit had been given in the ] account for the amount so.paid. On j examining the bill of particulars and the •'• plaintiff's books the Court was satisfied ] the statement was correct, and gave a ' verdict for the plaintiff for the amount J slaimed with costs. Young v. Bourke;— A claim for L 4 10s ' 3d. The defendant admitted the debt, I md asked for time. . The piairitiff allowed c )ne month, and judgment was given ac- } sordingly.
