' In Bankruptcy. j Friday, July 10. (Before his Honor Judge Harvey.) In re James Davey, of Duffer, Creek,; miner. — This meeting for an examination of the bankrupt's wife, with a view to; show that she was in possession of certain moneys, proceeds of the estate of her de-; ceased brother, Jeremiah M'Grath, late of Brighton. The evidence disclosed that the witness had received over L2OO, and,; with the exception of some small suras 1 sent to her mother and sister, she had; applied the money to her own use. It; appeared pretty clear, however, that nonej of the money was left or available for the creditors. . ; Mr Staite applied for Mrs.Davey's ex-: penses as a witness, which his Honor allowed. The Court then adjourned. ■
