Museum at Nuremberg. The guns were captured from the Germans by the Turks in the fifteenth arid sixteenth centuries, and much historical interest attaches to them. The arrest of Bishop Martin, of Paderborn, is said to be impending before the end of the month. The bishop is reiquiried to pay various fines, amounting in all to LB4OO, before June 1, failing to do which— and it is not likely he will conform to the judgment of the secular court —-he will be imprisoned for debt. The Oermania is enabled to state that Archbishop Ledochovski has received a very friendly and sympathetic letter from the Pope. The absence of such a communication has hitherto given rise to much comment in non-Catholic circles.
