A resolution was carried to the effect that intending travellers by railway will be allowed to purchase tickets during any time of the day, either at the railway station or at certain specified places in various centres of population. Such ticket to be only available on the day of issue. An Ordinance, introduced by the President of tho Executive, for making overall fees received in municipalities on account of dog taxes, publicans and auctioneers licenses to be spent in the municipalities in which they are received, was thrown out 19 to 14.
