It will be seen that Mr Guinness' motion on the subject of an Executive, which was to have come on for discussion on Tuesday, was postponed tan til yesterday. We are informed privately that there is a strong .probability of it .being carried. It is not uriiifcely that; the victory won by the Nelson Council against irresponsible authority will have its influence in the Provincial Council of Westland, the principle being in each case the same.
