The appointment, on the motion of Mr Lahman of a "Public Works and Immigration Committee" would seem to imply that the conclusions of the "Recess Public Works Committee" do not meet with the approval of the Council. From what we can learn, it is probable that a considerable modification of the proposals of the Recess Committee will be recommended to the Council. We hope so, for the sake of the chances of obtaining the assent of the Assembly to a loan for this Province.
