The p.s. Charles Edward arrived last evening from .Nelson, via Westport and Hokitika. The ss. Kennedy, belonging to the same line, did not leave port last night. She will go to Westport on this morning's ;tide. ' ■■ The s.s Go- A head is now hourly expected from the North, aud is announced to be despat"hed for Wanganui and the Manakau on to-morrow night's tide. Her agents are Messrs Nancarrow and Co. The s.s. Claud Hamilton is expected to arrive to-day from Melbourne direct, when she will be promptly tendered and despatched for Nelson, Wellington. &c. The schooners Kiamua and Spray are both daily expected from Lyttelton, and the Mary Ogilvie from Dunedin and Oamaru.
