TENDERS will be received at this office until NOON of WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4, 1874, for the SUPPLY and DELIVERY of about 90,000 RAILWAY SLEEPERS, viz., 50,000 for the Winton and Kingston line, and 40,000 for the Westport and Mount Rochfort line. They must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Wellington, and marked outside " Tender for Sleepers." Specifications may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Wellington, Auckland, Foxton, Nelson, Westport, Greymouth, Hokitika, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Invercargill. Telegraphic Tenders similarly addressed and marked, will be received, if presented at any Telegraph Office by Noon of the same date : Provided that written Tenders in due form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour.
