FRESH TENDERS will be received at this office up to noon on WEDNESDAY, 18th MARCH, for the construction of certain portions of the above. They must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Wellington, and marked outside " Tender Nelson Creek Water Kace." Plans and specifications may be seen at this office, and at the Public Works Office, Greymouth, on the arrival of the first mail after this date. Telegraph tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any Telegraph Office by noon of the same date, provided that written tenders in due form are lodged at a District or {Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour. SLEEPERS. Public Works Office, Wellington, January 27, 1874. TENDERS will be received at this office until NOON of WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4, 1874, for the SUPPLY and DELIVERY of about 90,000 RAILWAY SLEEPERS, viz., 50,000 for the Winton and Kingston line, and 40,000 for the Westport and Mount Rochfort line. They must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Wellington, and marked outside " Tender for Sleepers." Specifications may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Wellington, Auckland, Foxton, Nelson, Westport, Greymouth, Hokitika, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Invercargill. Telegraphic Tenders similarly addressed and marked, will be received, if presented at any Telegraph Office by Noon of the same date : Provided that written Tenders in due form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour. TENDERS are invited by the Colonial Government for the Construction of the Deborah Bay Contract of the Dunedin and Moeraki Railway, including a Tunnel through the Purakanui Kanee.
