Nelson, Feb.; 6. In the Council last night, in reply to Mr Corbett, the Government promised to establish a ferry on the Grey River, at the foot of Moonlight Creek, and erect a footbridge without delay at Nelson Creek, on the main road. The Supplementary Estimates passed after a protracted discussion. I The Gold Fields' District Bill hasibeeri read a second time.
