The business of Fire and Marine Insurance is so rapidly increasing that there is ample room for another company in this Colony, t Largely increased facilities for covering this 'Class of risk are imperatively required, and, the National Insurance Company is founded to supply this want, ' This Company is not started in opposition to any of the other New Zealand Companies, but is intended to co-operate with them in fostering the trade arid commerce of the .
